Building tools: Should I buy a kit or piecemeal?

So I know that I could buy a full kit like a Coil Master or equivalent. Would that be sufficient or would I get better quality tools buying them individually and, maybe save a few bucks, if I buy them all from one vendor? One thing I need is those wire coilers, before I learn to coil on a screwdriver, but I could buy a few sperately.

If not a kit or a smaller one, is there a US vendor like Amazon, that you can suggest? With Covid in our area, it's harder to spend time looking at my hardware store and I doubt they carry curved ceramic tweezers.

At work but will reply later. Thanks

The kit that comes with the ohm reader from coil master seems quite good quality and includes everything you need. I personally just use a screwdriver that is about 3mm for coiling my wire though.

Just buy a coilmaster kit, sure it's mostly pish but at least it'll get you started.

I started with a Coilmaster kit, but since have replaced certain things.

the reader in mine hard shorted and melted itself, the scissors were kinda blunt and the tweezers broke (kinda my fault) and the snips fell apart

knew I was in trouble when the coils glowed and I wasn't even pressing the button and it stank of burning plastic...

Has anything survived?
