Very, very strong butter flavour – the concentrate has a strong butter smell too. Sometimes one drop in 10ml can be enough and 1 drop in 5ml can be excessive. This is strong and care needs to be taken as it can overwhelm some other flavours – I used 1 drop in 20 ml in an ice cream flavour and that was enough to make it rich and creamy. 1 drop in 10 ml destroyed the same ice cream.

UPDATED WARNING
It seems according to this http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/201...icid=maing-grid7|uk|dl5|sec1_lnk3&pLid=120850 that diacetyl may be worse than previously thought. I shan't be using this again. I shall also be looking for it on food labeling.
