Having successfully built my first DNA30 box mod from wood I decided that my next one should be a bit more pocket friendly.

So I set about sourcing a hana enclosure. Managed to get a hana box with the guts ripped out from @possiblevaper for a good price.

The box had the usual signs of wear and tear.

First job was to drill out the fire button hole for a new switch. And also drilled and tapped the 510 hole to accept a Fat Daddy v3 510. Also drilled a small hole for charger led but forgot to do it before spraying...

Then it was time to sand it all down and give it a nice new link of paint. Sanding was a right pita. Primed with etch primer (thanks for the tip @BaDaBooM). Then sprayed with car paint. Decided to go for a nice deep pearlescent blue.
Process so far

No need to sand it you could have just etched it for £5 :)

BALLS

now you tell me.....

I'd have sanded it anyway as the finish on the box had like loads of really thin lines , the type that makes a noise when you run your nail across it.
Plus it had a few big dings in it.

Good job mate looks good.

Etching saves a lot of time and is super easy to do.

If you want another enclosure Ive got one you can have that I dropped and scuffed up a little.
