Cheap 72mg nic post TPD

Aye I have actually, the corner shop where I used to live got busted for illegal fags shipped from China.

And yes heroin does get imported, illegally, obviously.

Sorry cigarettes are not illegal, the sale of them without duty paid is the illegal part.

Well then it is flawed...because the EU law doesnt govern the world, they cant do shit to the company selling it thats outside the EU. They can try intercepting it at customs, but thats like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Or...you have arsehole companies like fedex, who somehow know exactly whats in your private post, and confiscate it.
Perhaps customs have flagged it for the carrier to investigate. It may well be they have put an exception on clearance until fedex verify the contents.

It happens, I've had it with inbound flavours and outbound wholesale eliquid.

@Badboybez and @JesusFoggingChrist I have no idea now what point you are trying to make any more. People who know more about this than you or I have confirmed information from the government (straight from the legislation?) that makes it clear that it actually isn’t legal to import 72mg nic. I’m not telling you not to do it, I hope it arrives with you if you do. But it seems quite clear that it’s not legal for the seller to ship it here, unless it’s a business to business transaction.

But are you arguing that the government info posted by @speedfreek67 is wrong? If so, there’s not really much else I can contribute.

And obviously fedex know they are shipping vaping gear, because a vaping gear vendor sent the package.

Right, so the Chinese fags in the shop were illegal, because they came in a box from China and the duty was dodged. What’s hard to understand about that?

No, got busted after customs discovered the fags, let the shipment go and sent the cops round guy after they took delivery. Do you seriously think if customs opened a box of packets of fags sent from China, that they wouldn’t be interested in it?

Depends how many cartons are in it, if its only a few they usuale just demand you pay the duty

Ok, so whether they bust you for a big box of fags, or demand you pay duty for a small box, then they have taken an interest in it. So we agree.

Im not entirely sure that's their procedure, particularly as they are trying to crack down on tobacco products they found to have dubious and unsafe (moreso than normal tobacco) contents.

Customs are responsible not only for duties but also stopping unsafe contraband being passed through the border.

Because the courier is chosen by the person you are buying from - not yourself as a purchaser.

You can ask - but for the most part the companies you are buying from have accounts with particular couriers.

Exactly, and following several other issues with FedEx earlier this year one of my primary decisions over which supplier to use is simple, if they use FedEx, I don't do business with them !!!

The point im making is...its neither legal nor illegal.
The law states its illegal yes...but applying that law to someone who isnt governed by our law makes the illegality void...
Tpd restricts the seller, not the buyer, im not in the 'wrong' for been able to buy it, the seller is in the 'wrong'...but only in the eyes of EU law. Its like saying...im currently breaking thai law by vaping in public or w/e in england...is it not? Lol
