China Covid-19 numbers

Anybody here believe China is telling the truth about their numbers?

80 odd thousand infected and only 3 thousand dead?

See the UK gov now thinks their true figures could be 15 to 40 x what they're claiming.

I don't know how much higher they are but I think their official figures are complete and utter bullshit. We've got half the official cases and already more dead.

I look at a lot of graphs and numbers about various countries.
I can only make sense of the whole situation by disregarding Chinese numbers.

I hope the Chinese numbers are true.
That would give more hope to the rest of the world.

It seems to be almost impossible to make any sense of the figures globally - the UK must seem odd to some as it looks as though we have nobody recovering. Different, testing, different reporting, different systems.

Unfortunately china has not got a good reputation for saying the facts, and it's no different here.

@Mitz I have been thinking exactly the same thing tbh

Maybe the strain has changed? I have no idea but its very strange that we have already beaten the death numbers, something is not quite right, also I think they were testing more people, not just people in hospital. WE may never find out the truth sadly but I for one am very curious considering we are constantly using the history of these countries to predict our future

The difference could very well be that we have a leader holed up in a bunker in his pyjamas scratching his balls.....maybe they actually got a grip n dealt with it....it never really went province wide in China.
