I doubt people are still kissing on both cheeks.
No, not now I would think.
But in my post I also mentioned the period where nobody realise's they have got it, the government has not imposed any social distancing etc, so everyone is happily passing it around, and hey presto, there are already thousands of people infected, and the country has an epidemic on it's hands.
Consider this, Spain, Italy, and France are the worst affected countries in Europe.
In Spain, and Italy, everyone hugs, and kisses each other when bumping into them when out.
In France as you rightly said they all do the kiss on both cheeks.
See where I am coming from.
Hence I do not think that the effect will be so bad in the UK, as we are say "a bit more stand offish" as a nation.
