Is anybody actually telling the truth here?
Probably not, came out when I was watching the news yesterday that the UK figures don't include people that have died in care homes.
Is anybody actually telling the truth here?
Here we go again, I'm sure people are sick of hearing me say this. I'm sick of saying it. Please, please can everybody calm down and think. Every poster on here is under stress. Many have health problems, many have financial problems and some might lose members of their family or friends. We're all more vulnerable than usual. Does anybody really want to fall out over a few hasty words on a forum and an opinion? Several people have posted then realised and apologised - it's likely to happen a lot over the next few weeks, it ain't gonna get better quickly. I know feelings are running high, but please, please think of the effect your words might have on someone before posting?
I'm nobody on here, I have no power, I know this is just my opinion ............... but I keep seeing people I'm fond of tearing chunks out of each other. It makes me very sad.
Under normal circumstances I agree with you. I don't always see things the way you do, but I can respect someone who stands his ground and I've said many times I rather like talking to people with different views and rugged individualists. I value how unflappable you are, and you make me laugh.Quite right what you are saying @Crewella
Tempers seem to be getting a little frazzled at the moment.
Sometimes people have a pop at me, sometimes I have a pop at them.
But the important thing for everyone at anytime, not just at this time, is get up the next day, and forget it all, life is to short in normal circumstances to harbour a grudge, let alone now.
So if you end up in a ruck, forget it, or maybe PM whoever, and just say "mate I really fucked up last night, can we forget it"
That's how I've always gone on in life, and you are a bigger, better person if you can do that.
There's a guy on here, won't mention his name, did exactly that to me a few months ago, I replied to him saying, well I didn't think it was that bad, forget it.
Shit, now I've put me foot in it again, sorry to all non British reading.
Whatever else, don't lose your sense of humour, that's what the British are famous for, oh, that, and the stiff upper lip.
I'm nobody on here, I have no power, I know this is just my opinion .
Oi ............... don't try that sweet-talking bollocks with me, mate, it won't wash.Au Contraire
"I'm nobody on here"
Remember "I am am not a number, I am a free man"
Oh crap, screwed up again, didn't I, okay lets try again, "I am am not a number, I am a free person / woman / lady / whatever"
"I have no power"
You certainly have a power over me sweetheart, and I bet your palace guards have to beat hundreds of potential suitors away from the doors of your palace.
Under normal circumstances I agree with you. I don't always see things the way you do, but I can respect someone who stands his ground and I've said many times I rather like talking to people with different views and rugged individualists. I value how unflappable you are, and you make me laugh.
I'm just trying to point out that it's not so easy for most of us to see the bigger picture, or be the bigger person, at the moment. It would make forum life a lot easier for everybody if we were all a little more tactful than usual whilst this is going on?
Oi ............... don't try that sweet-talking bollocks with me, mate, it won't wash.

I suspect you'll manage to live with the disappointment. What do you mean bloody "Oi" I thought you had more class than that.
Oh, well screwed up again then did I, eh.
When will I ever learn.
Oh well, goodbye cruel world.
