Cleaning and reusing clearomisers

Ok. So I have CE 4 clearomisers. I want to refill it with another flavour, (there is menthol in at the moment), once finished do I just refill or rinse under the tap? Won't the wicks be tainted by the previous flavour or does it not matter. Will a few burns clear that?
just started out on 24 mg nico in a menthol mix, which I am finding is leaving me with a burnt feeling in the mouth.
vamo 5 at 2.7 ohms and vaping around 5 to 6 watts.

I think my next batch will be half that nicotine strength, and I suppose I am just getting acclimatised.

I have refilled CE4s before and with all my tanks/Cleros I just rinse them or dunk them in a bowl of hot water then give them a good blow out, with my eyes closed cause nicotine in the eye stings haha. they will take a few burns to clear out but they should be fine.

the beauty of ce4's is they so cheap and when they work they vape well....i just empty last remains and hold under a hot tap a few minutes then flick dry and refill.

Also get another couple so you can rotate flavours.
Sometimes the burnt taste goes away if you stop vaping it for a bit
