I googled dirty vape tanks. I would never let mine get that bad.
I frequently take them apart and rinse with warm water.

Isopropyl alcohol.

Isopropyl alcohol mixed 65% iso and 35% distilled water. Pure iso can damage rubber O's but 65/35 is no issue and after using it for nearly 2 yrs now I've never had a problem. Have done the quick wash in soapy water now and then but straight after its hit with the iso mix to help dispel any water hiding anywhere.

Warm water and a dibble of washing up liquid. Soak for a few hours and rinse.

Vodka can also be used.

It would take multiple applications of vodka to get me to do anything other than rinse and dry.
