Will take a couple of long soaks. Make sure you strip it down completely including O rings.

Will do, just found a tub of bicarb...will get to work tomorrow with it...but now..it's time to crawl into me crib...night night and thanks chaps!

If you watch the Quorax videos he seems to boil his atties in milk. I’m assuming he removes all the O-Rings. I’m not sure I’d be willing to do it but it seems to work for him

Yeah, had noticed that..must be the alkaline that helps clean them...not that i'm gonna try it though. Waste of perfectly good milk for me brews!

I've always used soapy water. Sometimes if I've got gunked up threads and a normal rinse isn't shifting it, I use cotton buds. Also use the cotton buds for drying. That's it, never needed anything more complicated than that.
