The variation of resistance would slightly increase battery drain on a mech mod but would make no difference on a regulated mod.

Hello all

New to building, can someone tell me why prebuilt 0.4 alien coils are showing as 0.14 in a dual build. I would’ve expected it to be halved (0.2) . I have tried it on several mods and they all show the same

Are they ni80 coils and did you bed them in first? Ni80 will read low until you dry burn them and get rid of the hotspots, then they'll settle at their true resistance.

You can indeed. But bear in mind that you'll gain resistance but you'll also gain more metal to heat up with an additional two wraps for a dual coil setup. It's very easily done tho. I often add or remove a wrap from premade coils. Just make sure you use the correct size coiling bar or whatever tool you use to put thru the coil so you get an even wrap.
