Coil ohm question

Hey there guys. Just noticed something today. When i have my build on my coil master, if i touch a post screw with my screw driver, the ohms go absolutely random. Then i take it off and they are back to normal. Any thoughts on this? Is it normal or do i need to change a screw or something :11: I'm honestly puzzled by this.

Also once we have solved this one, i need help buying myself a set of new coils. As much as ebay can be a dodgy source, i've bought stuff of there for years and the coils i bought of there last work great but i want them to be SS.

Don't touch it with a screwdriver then would be my advise. ;)
Fair enough ahah. do you know why that would change the ohms? Im assuming its because screwdrivers are conductive and its freaking it out a little. Also, in case you were wondering, the post screws are nice and snug so its nothing to do with that like it has been in the past.

I've never been tempted to do it but if I had to guess Id say you were possibly causing a slight short . Maybe if you are touching the positive post with the point of the screwdriver and catching the shaft of the screwdriver on the body !

Or it could be that you are basically adding metal and therefore giving it a false reading potential.

Yeah still doing it even though i thought i had fixed it. It can happen if i touch the screw or the inside of the screw hole. I wonder.

I think i have found the source. The screw is basically being a pain and even when i tighten it, coming loose a bit to easily.

Update. Actually i was wrong. its still doing it.
Small wire in a big hole ? Not locking the wire down ! Screw might be bottoming out .
