Coil ohm question

Just....

put.down.the.fecking.screwdriver.

Will ya ;)

You can tighten screws with your teeth.
Honest.

Or the cat's/dog's/Aunt Edna's teeth.
You get a good resistance using any of em.

Trust me. They fight like hell.

Vape Clawed, lol. :D

so guys. Now i have solved his one. Will these work nicely? im well aware that there are far better coils out there but even my kanthals work quite nicely. Could be far better but for me even THEY have great taste, nice clouds etc. But i want quicker fire up so have found these stainless steel ones. Would these be okay on my mod? I think i'm gonna stick on 0.5 ohms atm as i feel no need to change.

What do you think of these:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ready-Pr...hash=item3f72cbeae3:m:mp_ld76sCLI9s7t_EWjOeYA
I also am content with claptons so will stick with them ;)

Will these be just as safe as my others though?
Safety depends on the resistance of the coils and the resultant amp drawn on the battery. So make sure you pay attention to the resistance of whatever coils you buy. And use an ohms calculator to determine the amp draw and wattage that will be put out using a fully charged 4.2v battery.

If I use my titanium screwdriver to fasten a gold plated screw to a ss coil, will I create some kind of new-fangled alloy short. Quite frankly I don't know whether to piss myself or shit myself.

Shussshhhh dont mention the "short" word again!

Me and my mate slap head used to work as labourers for an electrical installation company, and when testing if a 2.5mm cable was live or not, we would wet our fingers and swipe at the wire, I don't recommend it as it's the reason my mate is called "slap head" but it was funny. Anyway the royal wedding soon I can't wait.

On a serious note, at least op is using an ohmeter to check his coils out before firing them on a mod. I hear of plenty of people that don't.

Gotta admit I don't do that, but when I am in the pub on the piss I don't give it a second thought, I just put it on my shit mod and use my average screwdriver to strum the ohms into submission.

You build in the pub while on the piss? That's hardcore.
