Coil ohm question

I thought you said the screw wasn't locking down !
I think the OP has been using a left handed screwdriver.

It was locking. Just coming loose a little easy. Thats not it anyways. Apparently after asking other people including chris k its normal and if you touch the deck with anything conductive it will mess up the ohms. Basically just don't fire it when touching it otherwise you will get a shock ;)

As you wouldn't get the cap back on to be able to vape it then it's not relevant. The point I tried to make was this is how a problem with your attie could present itself & as you found it while on the reader you can fix it. As I said had it been a piece of wire causing it & you hadn't checked before firing it on the mod, you may have been asking this question sat in A&E. Check everything you do before you commit to the mod.
Yes agreed. I guess this is why coil readers are so useful! Now i at least know what it would look like if i had a short. At the moment i check my rda twice a day on the coil master just to be safe.

Hey there guys. Just noticed something today. When i have my build on my coil master, if i touch a post screw with my screw driver, the ohms go absolutely random. Then i take it off and they are back to normal. Any thoughts on this? Is it normal or do i need to change a screw or something :11: I'm honestly puzzled by this.
Did you use an average screwdriver or a bellow average screwdriver? And what material was the screwdriver made from? As in another post you made you seem to have screwdrivers that differ in averageness and made from multiple different materials. My screwdrivers are made from metal and are just slightly above average, I don't like way above average screwdrivers as they are for posh people and Facebook know alls. Anyway don't test the resistance with your tongue unless it's above average and robust against heat or ceramic.

so guys. Now i have solved his one. Will these work nicely? im well aware that there are far better coils out there but even my kanthals work quite nicely. Could be far better but for me even THEY have great taste, nice clouds etc. But i want quicker fire up so have found these stainless steel ones. Would these be okay on my mod? I think i'm gonna stick on 0.5 ohms atm as i feel no need to change.

What do you think of these:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ready-Pr...hash=item3f72cbeae3:m:mp_ld76sCLI9s7t_EWjOeYA
I also am content with claptons so will stick with them ;)

Will these be just as safe as my others though?

Well that's me told then !! I'm not the one jamming average screwdrivers down the side of screws .:frustratedcomputer:

I wonder..how average were the post screws? As above average post screws would be good but imagine tackling a below average screw with a below average screwdriver, it's an accident waiting to happen, even Armageddon, like the recent cold weather of 3 days fucked up the entire country.

I've had a few below average screws before but I much prefer a top quality screw. :D
