Covid-19 - natural / man made debate - does it matter?

Then again, it could have been accidentally released by our very own Porton Down facility, originally opened to research germ warfare (among other things) that contains "samples" of the deadliest poisons, and infectious diseases known to mankind.
Before everyone starts saying "but China had it first" consider this, if it was an accidental release from Porton Down, from a new germ warfare programme, would our military, or the government, immediately announce it to the world, or would they cover it up.....................

My personal belief is that it was natural, and that ALL governments would have initially been tempted to play it down. Wherever it started, it was definitely spread by man though. I don't think we can expect to have free access to travel in the way we now do without there being some kind of consequences.

I think quite a few governments have taken advantage of the focus on covid-19, but that would be one feck of an overreaction for a large country over issues on a small island?

If it was man made I doubt very much it would have been purposefully released.
And the Americans are-have-will be doing the same creating man killers anyway..
The trump administration are doing all they can to deflect the fact their response to the outbreak is fooking woeful..for a country that continually tells the world how great it is at everything the way they are responding to COVID is the worst of any country..
They seem intent on apportioning blame as opposed to keeping its citizens alive and safe.

I believe that China would do almost anything to curtail the idea of 'Freedom' that a democratic regime would provide.It reminds me of the time the bastards sent me 4 mini veggie spring rolls instead of the large meat one i ordered.
