Covid-19 - natural / man made debate - does it matter?

"High profile scientist" these days just means "gets more clicks than other scientists". Good way to do that is come up with something scary and different that gets hits on newspaper sites that rely on hits for ad revenue (like claiming vaccines causing autism or that drinking arsenic cures erectile disfunction).

"Respected scientist" or "Reputable scientist" is another matter.

We can speculate until the mad cows come home but we will likely never know the truth of it, well maybe once Michael Moore has released an unbalanced documentary about it.

Until then we have a narcissist world leader spreading unfounded political-gain sheep fodder, itching for a war since the pandemic put water on the Iran fire.

When someone has the virus they infect other people. "We" the population haven't spread the virus enough for herd immunity so the lock down can end. There's no shadowy "we" infecting people on purpose.
