Covid deaths food for thought

How come i cant find a graph of cases vs deaths?
I can find cases per capita, and deaths per capita, and dozens of others, but deaths vs cases per day, or week, doesnt seem to b available

You can use the data explorer here https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus#our-data-sources
To explore case fatality rates and much else.

I do not personally find that measure particularly enlightening given the different levels of testing. It depends what you are trying to understand.

If you are trying to compare the USA to other countries, Check out the excess deaths data. Even though the data on that is months behind other countries. The excess deaths data for the US would indicate that its case fatality rate is higher in reality than shown on the case fatality graph.

Best I can do is the Worldometers graphs for comparison?

Yeah, thats as close as i came. I was interested in the ratio of people catching it vs people dying from it to see what the change is. That one particular graph doesnt seem to exist
