Cthulhu Artemis rta

God knows, watch the video.

"... and the reason this is important is, GTA style decks do have a tendency of causing air traps, air traps normally form on the underside down here, it's when the cotton is wicking juice up, in order for the juice to go up it needs another place for the air to go in and generally speaking it happens through the juice intake ports and normally what happens when you over stuff these with cotton is an air trap actually forms inside the juice intake but doing it like this there's enough space in there basically for the juice and the air to go in and out"

TL/DR: Don't over stuff the holes.

Well I'm glad that's sorted out ;)

Yer passing up on a free go at an atty, that might change yer life:)
You know me well enough by now to now I will slate the fker, any fker that is shite, cos I buy my shit;)

Nah, you are just suffering from choice-supportive bias and post-purchase rationalization ..... the only true honest unbiased opinion is from free stuff when you have nothing in it. ;)

tae be quite honest, i have absolutely no need for one. i am quite happy with the performance of my three scoot clone on an old rusty pico squeeze so no need to shell oot 30 bucks on a replica twiki. :)

Yeah metallic taste is gone after a good clean. I’ll hold my hands up I was pretty happy for it to come and just stuck a build straight in. Lesson learnt.

Something to add. Hope someone can chime in. Getting a lot of gurgling and popping from it. Never experienced this with the Pandora and hopefully it’s just a learning curve from me that someone can chime in on.

Gurgling & popping could be it's overwicking and/or your wattage isn't high enough?

Try more wick, or a larger diameter coil if you haven't been thinning out your current wicks.

If it's been doing this since your wash & clean of the tank, maybe one of the orings isn't seated properly?

I think you could be right in thinking the wattage might not be high enough for the coil.

I vape at the lower end of the power spectrum for MTL and popping was something I used to get a lot when I first started using RTA's, especially when first picking up from cold.. it would pop so loud and violently it would make me jump! Since I started using SS wire I don't ever get it now and I think that might be because SS has a quicker heat up than kanthal or nichrome. ... it's also the reason I don't use clapton wire or anything like that as I think the wraps 'encourage' the same effect at low power.

That's only a theory but it's based on experience. I don't ever get popping now using SS but it could be a different reason I guess.
