There is one uncomfortable conclusion and I've surrendered myself with certain tanks in the past, maybe it just doesn't suit your building style. There's no shame in it, I've offloaded various one's that were absolute murder for me to use....

One very forgiving one that's easy to build on is the Bishop Cubed, saw it on sale somewhere for £20.

When I first started looking at Boro stuff, the mobb mini was the one that caught my eye first (sxk), seems like it's hard to get it wrong but it was out of stock everywhere I looked at the time.

I think maybe I'm just fundamentally useless at rbas. Over my 10+ years of vaping and 25+ tanks, I don't think I have ever got a quality vape from one that's consistently good. Sometimes I fool myself into thinking "aha, I've got it" then 10 mins later, it's dry hit or flooding, hot spot, no flavour, shorting, and frankly, I don't have the patience to spend an hour rebuilding a tank only for it to work as intended for 15 mins.

Even last night when I thought I had solved the ether after 2 hours of faff, the quality from it still didn't match my old £25 horizontech tank and £1 coil. I just didn't want to be missing out but sadly it looks like I'm destined to struggle forever

I have had that feeling many times tbh.
Then, for reasons I know not why, at some point it just clicked and now I can't seem to get it wrong. But I couldn't tell you what I'm doing differently.

The BP pro cotton I like, because it's a decent width and it always seems to work with very little trimming or faffing. It's just a case of cutting the length level to the edge of the atty (nearly always works) and then just tucking it in reasonably tightly, but without crushing it or mashing it up.

Agree that the bishop cubed is very decent, and relatively easy to build on. If the airflow had been tighter it would have been perfect. For 20 notes you can't go wrong.

Last week i probably wouldn't of recommended this but now i love it, The Pioneer Insider is excellent and overtaking the Bishop as my favourite RBA, but knowing me something else will be number 1 next week.

Well it's a few days later and I'm still struggling.

It's definitely an "air lock" issue.

It's almost like the chimney is too wide to let air bubbles escape from the juice wells properly, I see the bubble escape then it just sits in the juice channels.

Every 3 or 4 drags it's just dry as anything, if I give it a sharp blow or open the fill port the bubbles race to the top and it wicks fine almost immediately for another 2-3 drags then repeat, over and over.

I'm at a loss, less cotton, more cotton, it doesn't seem to matter, it's just the air seemingly getting stuck.
