About 5 years ago I made myself a build stand, when I worked as a CNC programmer/operator.
I used a piece of 25mm Melamine faced white birch ply and used a stealthvape 510 for atty stands.
I cut it from the reverse side, with a 9mm "thru" hole for the threaded shaft and a counterbored "blind" hole based on the size of socket wrench used to tighten the nut.
The 80mm and 120mm markings are there to remind me how long to cut my wires..
