So, this is my first post here, I've been vaping for about a month.
From what I gather, and I'm not sure if I'm correct, the internet seems to be confused about dry hits and burnt hits.
For example, a dry hit is often described as a burning taste, really nasty, and it's explained as burning your cotton. But if you burn your cotton then your coil or cotton is pretty screwed, right?
Then, people also talk of chain-vaping, or using too much cotton, causing dry hits, and it see just seems to be something that happens every so often, and you either adjust your cotton, or don't chain-vape so much, and just go on vaping with no burned cotton.
I think I've experienced both, and I'm wondering if I am correct in saying that a dry hit is best described as a taste of hot empty vape with little to no flavour, and your vape suddenly stops making that light crackling and popping sound, and the vapor gets hotter.
While a burned hit is when you actually burn the cotton, and it gives you an actual burned taste, really nasty, and maybe sore on the throat, and your cotton is screwed, and the taste of burning lingers, and mutes the taste from the cotton, for good. Meaning you have to change your coil or cotton.
Does this sound correct?
