Dry tasting DIY

I don't really buy into the whole saline as an enhancer trend. It seems to have started with the Charlie noble peanut butter cereal recipe release last autumn and it was in that recipe for a specific reason.

To my mind it's far better to tweak your percentages or find a supporting flavour to fill holes in a recipe rather than just bung in some saline or other on trend additive.

Yeah, I only made it for the Charlie Noble's PB Cereal at 1 drop per 10ml. It did enhance the flavour against a test batch with no added saline but I haven't used it elsewhere or for combating dryness, whatever that is. :D

Time/time is the main thing they say shake and vape on them but vg/pg takes a while to blend with each other and then you have the concentrate...but in my honest opinion its just the flavour they need a pinch of sweet fruit or sugar just like your morning cerial or drenching in milk

Maybe it became more popular after that recipe but it has been getting used for quite a while before that.

Hi guys

Quick question.

My pg/vg/NIC is fine, with other concentrates it tastes great etc, but some of the flavours I have (mainly bakery/cereals) taste.. dry?

At first i thought it was overflavoring (people using 20%) but I've made a batch at 12% and it still tastes dry (but nice if it was "wetter"). I tend to make 50/50 or 60pg/40vg

I've been using the same build in my subtank for about a year, so I know it's not that.

They're all from chefs flavours:

DOHnuts
Cheerios
Honey nut loops

Any ideas?
I use fa marshmallow @ 0.5% to add some wetness to my vapes.

TFA cheesecake (graham crust) is what I use for my cereal milk bases. You could try adding some of that, or FA Vienna cream around 1% should give a creamy milky sense.

INW cactus 0.2% is fantastic at making fruits more juicy feeling.

I don't know much about the one shot things though, so I don't know if any of this will work for that. This is what I have found that works for me.

I once read saline turns out some nasties when vaped and is not recomended. Iv had some vapes iv made that i describe as dead on the end exhale, then i added Capella Super Sweet 1 drop per 10ml of juice to them and "pop" there it was. Maybe not the problem you have but maybe is. Iv heard about white vinegar too added to pop some flavours but id check its safety before hand, never used it myself.
