Dvarw MTL wicking

I'm been vaping on this tank for a while and I think I have got the wicking down but it seems to need to be rewicked every couple of tanks. I don't consider myself a heavy vaper but it still needs to be rewicked every two days. Is this common? At first, I thought it was because I had tried vaping some sweet juice, but I find it lasts about the same regardless of the juice I use.

I probably change mine about once a week, but I only use it at home in the evenings and have two tanks in rotation most of the time.

Once a fortnight, whether it needs it or not, more-so after I dry burn the coil to get the NET crud off.

@silk186 why not try an experiment, and just keep using it after the 2 days and see what happens? Keep it going for a week.

Maybe all your juice is sweet... if that's your thing, just go with it.

By day 3 it tastes like crap and the cotton and coil are black AF.
I was wondering if I was not wicking properly of the random cotton I've been using is crap. It doesn't get nearly as fluffy as the stuff I see in youtube videos.

That could be it. I've tried sweet juice and didn't like them. I vape fruit and ice fruit that I don't consider sweet, but I imagine they are sweeter than tobacco flavours.

What wattage are you running it at?

Do you fluff the cotton? I try not to fluff mine at all. It depends on the liquid but sometimes I have a black coil and wick and it’s still good for quite some time.

Also some tobacco liquids can be quite sweet @silk186 . Many of mine contain caramel, custard, cream, vanilla etc
