E-cigarettes to be banned from Scotland hospital grounds

NHS Scotland need to focus on providing appropriate care rather than banning vaping

Sent from my iPhone using Planet of the Vapes

Question is, if you ignore the ban what can they do, have you arrested? It's not illegal (yet) Have you physically removed from the grounds? Lot of bluster and empty noise

I would certainly vape in hospital grounds, away from anybody else and would be prepared to be arrested for it. How would they prove in a court that I was harming anybody?

They don't have to prove you were harming anybody, but only that you broke hospital rules and policy

And my point stands, what will they do about it? Ooooh, I ignored your silly rule, arrest me or fuck off out of my face

Everytime I collect the wife from work I sit vaping in the car in the car park - something I intend to continue doing regardless

Authorities were allowed to produce tgeir own policies regarding vaping, they chose to take the spineless and unjustifiable approach. Her Trust's decision to ban it drew a huge volume of vociferous complaints from consultants, all ignored and brushed off.

Stupid rules, badly made don't deserve the time of day.

Quick update.

Received a response to my complaint about the article using the term 'unregulated' :

Thank you for getting in touch. We value audience feedback on these matters.

We take your point that the word ‘unregulated’ could cause confusion. We have removed this from the story.

Thank you, once again for taking the time to contact us.

BBC Complaints

Somewhat petty and pedantic to complain I know, but perhaps they're slowly starting to realise that they won't be allowed to get away with misrepresentation without getting pulled up on it.

Hopefully, they'll start to take a bit more care and do a bit more research before publishing articles on vaping from now on.

I'm not breaking any law so I will carry on vaping. Woe betide any flouro vested jobsworth that challenges me on it.
