Totally agree mate. I've had experience of it first hand with very few on the front line looking after the patients.

A few years ago you had a head porter in charge of most of the ancillary staff, and a deputy head to help. Probably earning 30k and 25k each. Each shift would have a porter in charge on 20k. A matron would run the nursing side of things, with many sisters to help her. Say 50k and 40k. etc, etc......
Now we have Ancillary managing director on 300k, several assistants on 200k, and shift managers on 100k. A director of nursing services on 400k, and assistants on 250k.
I wonder where all the money goes?

Blimey, I got into the wrong profession. I'm guessing the good old fashioned Matrons dont exist anymore, didnt see one on my last stay in hospital. Only people I saw apart from the guy that cut me to bits was the lovely ladies that brought me 3 square(ish) meals.

When you throw accusations against people do you not stop to think of the consequences it can have? I still fail to see what me joining in on a conversation regarding what the government are proposing to implement makes me a hypocrite? Your comment of me coming on here and complaining about it is just not valid and incorrect.

You're now pointing out I run adverts on my website that are "colourful" and "child friendly "!!! I do wonder at what level you're willing to stoop down to so you can get your point across.

i’m not trying to argue, you asked why i think you are being hypocritical, and i explained why i think that. to do so required me to elaborate on the nature of the adverts you run on your website.

you shouldn’t ask people questions if their answer is going to make you angry. obviously you don’t agree with my opinion. the colourful adverts are there published in the public domain. fair enough if you don’t think it’s hypocritical. i do.

we should probably leave it there and get back to moaning about the government.

i do t see how the bill will save the nhs. smoking has been phasing itself out for 40 years. there’s only a wee fraction of the smokers we had in the 80s these days.

I'm not angry mate, I just dont take kindly to being called a hypocrite when I think its unjustified.
