I have to say this article is poorly written as the journalist seems to be blaming e-cigarettes when it is the liquid that contains
diacetyl but its interesting reading the comments at the end of the article. Another 'explosive' article on the dangers of vaping days after it was announced they are to be widely available on the NHS !!

It's a thermal decomposition byproduct found in some lab tests where they ran some of the CE4 type clearomisers at power levels where no vaper would think of running them due to the obvious and foul burnt taste - but then reported as absolute fact.
