Pure stupidity.It's a thermal decomposition byproduct found in some lab tests where they ran some of the CE4 type clearomisers at power levels where no vaper would think of running them due to the obvious and foul burnt taste - but then reported as absolute fact.

As has been said - if your vape tastes like burning sofa, your risk is increased. My vape has never tasted like burning sofa - but my ciggies always tasted burned...

Absolutely you should mate. However, that might be gluteraldehyde or phenol - it's horrifically bad by there is a silver lining (see edited reply above...)
I still get one of the cheap ones (most paper per price) when I need to use them to protect a work surface. I just can't get out of the habit of using newspaper for that.I'm amazed people still buy Newspapers!!! I haven't bought one since 1989 !!!
