the returned mod wouldn't be able to be resold, given the packaging would be opened, i doubt very much you would be entitled to a refund or credit. wouldn't be in business long if items were returned on a whim whilst being perfectly serviceable, and subsequently only saleable at a discount given the breached packaging, it would effectively be second hand

A business wouldn't be around for very long if they kept breaking distance selling laws either!

..... it would usually be sold as a display model at a discount but still at a profit. It's the small price you pay for being able to sell your products online to a huge customer base. You either do that or only sell in person from a shop to less people. Depending on the business one might suit better than the other.
