I wouldn't recommend dry burning personally, I did it once on a Protank head and burned the insulating grommet, I can't explain just how bad that tastes. I rebuild my coils and wicks as soon as flavour or vapour drop off. I know some people remove the flavour wick from the head, surprisingly to make it wick better, you could give that a try. If you do try that, have a look at your coil, if its black and gunked up it will need changing IMO, it's up to you if you want to try dry burning just don't pulse it for too long.
