Evods don't taste right.

@Abyss If your using the evods straight out the box, then there's a good chance they have 2.5ohm heads in them. Which won't work very well on an ego battery. If you have not already tried it, swap a head out for a 1.8ohm, which I think you purchased.

hello mate, yes I tried that earlier it was a bit better. Certainly a lot more vaper more quickly. But still not much taste compared to my ce4.

I would try taking out 1 of the 2 flavor wicks, this helped when i first started with evods. Its best is to recoil them your self. 3mm silica and 4 wraps of .20 kanthral should come out around the 1.8 ohm mark. I found once you rewick them there will be a massive improvement. I hope you get them going because for me they work brilliantly, better than my pro tank 2!!!! Also make sure no juice has leaked on the connection between the battery and the evods positive pin as it will cause a bad contact which will cause problems too.

Abyss have you tried dropping your evod onto your ego battery? Let in more / less air by moving the batery closer / futher away from your tank? Is your bettery charged enough? Have you also cleansed your palete? Sucked an extra strong mint / scrubbed tongue etc?

The evods are good, and i cant think of anthing else to suggest

I love my evods but had problems getting them to taste and vape well. To be fair its very easy to recoil them and loads of videos on you tube to learn from, i know some vendors sell part made coils where the wire is wrapped around the silica and you just have to put them in to the coil heads...... to be fair there is still some work to do this way to fit them but its a start

Morning..

Taking out the flavour wick will definately improve the flavour. Make sure that after the flavour wick comes out you fluff the sides of the remaining primary wick and be sure to secure the stem back so there aren't any large gapes between the silica seal and wick. You might find that the EVOD is slightly more tempremental in terms of flooding the tank but with a few little adjustments it'll hardly happen.
