Evods don't taste right.

breakbystealth give 5 turns of 0.25 kanthal a try. Mine normally come out at 1.4 ohm.

Hello all, I purchased 3 evods last week and they just don't taste right. I'm currently vaping snake oil in one of them and the taste is very muted. The nasal exhale is also not good.

I also bought 3 new liquids last week and I could hardly taste them. All the 3 tasted the same really.

I've just now tried the snake oil in my ce4 and its terrific. A nice smooth vape.

Has anyone got any ideas on this one? I've read on another forum that other people have had problems. And it can be due to oil put on them in the factory when they are made.

Try removing the top "flavour wick" which sits OVER the could for some bizarre reason .. and serves no purpose but to mute the flavour .. evods are always loads better when you take it out.

WOW!!! Just reading over all these replies here - it all seems like way too much fiddly hard work plus nail biting hassle to just get an effing smoke!!!! Not into all the technical DIY stuff myself ( regarding vaping devices/equipment etc) and not planning on upgrading to better gear either, liking keeping it basic and simple. But was not into gadgetry or any mod cons collecting etc. in the first place anyway ( cured myself of that a long time ago when the money kept running out and boxes everywhere )...

I've been using Evods for a couple of weeks or so and this is the first I heard of the flavour wick thingy. Naturally I immediately removed one and gave it a blast and seduce my ancient footwear.......the flavour really has improved. Thanks guys!

Hi ADAM. So far I'm liking the protank mini much more than the evods. Throat hit is still a wee bit light compared to the CEs, but it came with 2.2 ohm coils/heads, and I *think* (no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that if I swap them out for the 1.8 ohm ones that will give more throat hit/flavour.

HI Citrus don't have enough technical expertise ( none actually!!!) to concur with you here I'm afraid sorry. What do you think I should be looking for if I want to upgrade from an ego battery plus ce4? I was told by KMS that I should be looking at a SVD? I think.....I haven't tried the evods or the mini protanks.....What's your next upgrade Citrus? If any......????

Hello mate, I've just taken the top wick out and to be honest it don't really taste much better. I'm at work now on the night shift so limited what I can do. I think in the morning I'm going to scald them out. Just got to be carful I don't melt the plastic inside. Thanks.
