Evods don't taste right.

Abyss It seems to suit me, yes, and that's with the higher ohm head - in theory there should be more throat hit with the 1.8 I believe. Of course what suits me might not suit you, but since we had the same issue with the evods it could be worth the old school try.

I get throat hit I take the flavourwicks out and replace with a small piece of 3mm silica great flavour great throat hit everything Abyss maybe u need a top coil tank u can have my clear 30 for 6 quid if u want it used once and I'll clean It out. I'm not gonna use it cos im not a big fan of top coilers

@ninjaassassin1983 any idea why it works that way? I mean.. Why does replacing the existing flavor wicks with new ones lead to better flavor? Am yet to do it BTW.. Just waiting for the postie to bring me the silica wick n wire to be able to try rebuild.

Cheers mate, I'll let you know on that one. I'm gonna just give these evods a few more days testing first. Did you say some of the sellers sell replaceable wicks for the evod? Thanks.

Well u buy the heads As one piece but u can aLso buy lengths of silica wick or ekowool

Just got home from work and I've gave these evods a real good cleaning. Also left them to soak in hot water for 30 mins. So I'll give them one final go tonight. I will also put a new coil unit into one and remove one of the flavour wicks. I can't see what else I can do with them. If they don't work properly tonight, I'll have to look into getting something else.

Morning all. Well today's its exactly one month since I had a cigarette. I must admit, I've got mixed feelings about vaping.

I'm yet to find a decent clearomizer or tank system. I must have got through about 8 ce4's this past month. I also find that once the wicks are washed when changing liquid flavour they are never the same. Its always that dull taste after the washing and drying process.

I tried the evod at work last night with one of the flavour wicks removed. And to be honest the flavour did taste a lot better. But today, I've opened the thing up to check on the single flavour wick. And the wick under the flavour wick is all bent up and mangled. So I'm not sure this one will be lasting long.

This continual messing around with clearomizers, wicks etc... Is becoming a real pain.
