Exocet Short

Sophie my Nurse has been building my RBA's a while now but the Exocet has me puzzled. She put a build in it yesterday and it was great, 24 Hours Later i am getting Check Atomiser, Tried it in another AIO and the same. She put another build in it this morning and it was great for a few hours then it happened again. Took the cap off and couldn't see anything wrong. Put cap back on and put it back in the Tank and it's alright again without changing anything. Stressing me out cause i can't figure out why it's doing it. Wish i could find my Vape Snail, even i in my condition could put a build in that and it would work ok. I have a Clone which vapes great but can i find it, can i feck.

If you are sure the build is ok, then it's the tank or nut or 510 pins need adjusting, would be my guess

I don't think it's the Nut as it did the same thing on other AIO's, Not sure about the Tank as it's the first time it's been used. I usually use the SXK Limelight Tanks but used one of the Plastic Ones with the Slide Down Glass at the Front. I was thinking and this is a shot in the dark so don't laugh. I haven't used the Exocet for about 2-3 years, here is my question, it's been sat in a box with other stuff kind of open to the elements. Could it of Oxidised or developed some sort of coating on the Pin. I mean Sophie washed it and let it dry, i normally Ultrasound Stuff but Soph just rinsed it under the tap. Clutching at Straws here lol. It's still working atm so maybe trying it in other Mods and messing about could have shifted some crud that was on it.

Usually the slide down glass tanks are sound, so it should be seating ok in that, but the o ring on the nut could be interfering with the connection, try removing it, if it happens again in the first instance... would do no harm to strip n thoroughly clean the rba in case a wee bit of old coil metal is in there somewhere.

Will get Sophie to strip it down and ultrasound it. As you say could be a strand of wire hanging about somewhere. If not i will try and get another as i quite like them. Thanks for the help and advice

Update :- It happened again last night so i asked Sophie to ultrasound it for me this morning. Not only did she do that she actually buffed the pin and polished the whole RBA. I am going to be lost when she goes, being such a massive help. Anyway New Build and back inside my AIO, same Boro Tank and it's been Vaping Fantastic for the last 3 1/2 Hours. It should be sorted now as there is nothing left to clean or polish on it, looks Brand New again . Thanks Again @Rickster for the help.

Exocet is still fine @Rickster . must of been a strand of wire or something i missed, Your not wrong about Sophie been a Diamond, i have been totally dependant on her for months, poor lass.

Sophie found my Vape Shell along with Half a Dozen other RBA's including some i had forgot about. It was funny because i told her i had some Choccy Sweets she could have and she went for a Rummage. Anyway she opened a Quality Street Tub and they were all in there. She also found an unopened Tub of Roses which she is now munching away on. She does deserve them though
