Expromizer V1.4 taste issue.

How does it taste in comparison to muji @rew? I know it's supposed to be fluffier but is there much of a difference?

Cheap is always good, I don't know why cotton has to be so expensive. Branding I guess, but reading up on them the big names do all seem to have slightly different compositions.

Oh and a bag of it will last you at least 5 years.

Odd that you get it with firebolt? Its what i use and i've not had any bother with it. Are you using the mixed lace size pack?

Give the mixed pack a try, 2.5, 3, and 3.5mm. it covers my mtl rta use, and the blotto's :)

Good call. Use the Blotto to obliterate the evil Firebolt. Perfect way to exact my revenge!

Incidentally, I'm using the Muji Dovpo sent us in that so I'm well stocked in that department. The way the Blotto goes I might not be for long though!

On a separate note, the Berserker vapes better than I remember it but I'm reminded why I stopped using it in the first place. The restricted window, reverse threaded top=cap and tight air-flow control ring are annoying me already and it's only been a day. The lack of a 1.2mm insert is a curious one too.

I really really really like the beserker 2, but that top cap is a royal pain in the arse. The plastic undercoil airflows are shit too.

Who makes these insane design decisions.... so many tanks that are almost perfect... ruined by one or two touches of idiocy.

So, I think my hypothesis on the cotton was partially true. I've just re-wicked it using plain old Muji, packed far more sparsely than previously and it seems to have improved things a little.

It's still not perfect by any means, and is still tasting a little metallic, but it's better. Maybe I'll have to try different juices in it now to see how they fare?

I think I was failing to appreciate just how small the chamber is before, and how little cotton you actually need. I was almost certainly over-packing it.

Hopefully a few more experiments will get me there.

I'm not going to give up on it, every time I come back to it I'm just reminded how good it is. It's by far the best tank I own - both machining and performance wise.

If only I could get the flavour right, It'd be perfect!

Ta for the update. Good to know, I've got one en route from china. Prob will be a while before it gets here now though.

As long as you don't have the flavour tribulations I'm having, you'll love it. The quality is outstanding and well worth the money. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.
