Some posters here have also been a little bit carried away in their criticism, if not in the content, in what seemed a bit like glee and Schadenfreude.

I would just like to see NDB realise that the response given was/is inadequate and that for the sake of people's lives more should be done and asap.

Would not mind a refund or exchange myself but that is a totally secondary concern.

See? You have been great. I understand the anger though on this forum as I am furious - most of us watched the tragedy of Grenfell unfold and what was partly or largely behind that? Self serving profiteering and bugger the consequences. Can't see a difference myself

I wouldn't say some of the reactions have been carried away. We all know (well hopefully) the dangers involved with batteries and chargers, the potential for worst case is frightening. Then for someone to come along, increase that risk massively, then try to avoid any responsibility is infuriating.

That's if we ignore the racism, immaturity, threats, insults and out right twatiness of @Next Day Batteries

The only thing left for you to do is post that notice on your site. The fact that you won't clearly demonstrates that you've not emailed all your customers and I don't think you give a shit about others safety. It's all about you.

At this juncture you appear to have a very tenuous relationship with veracity all round. You couldn’t even resist slipping that whopper into your so called apology so how can your sincerity with the rest be relied upon?

But perhaps I’m being a tad unfair, maybe you could fit 600 chargers into the master bedroom of a residential address, but calling it your stock room is virtually out of the pages of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. If you actually have a shred of decency and sincerity in you then I publicly challenge you to do the decent thing. Hire a skip so your dad can stop sleeping on the couch, and recompense 18650 and Fogstar for all costs they’ve incurred providing your customers with the redress that was your responsibility. Maybe then you’ll go some way to repairing the huge damage you’ve done so far to your own reputation.
