What's new

Finally got the TFV12

Tried one out, @100-150w, surprisingly decent flavour, even with the airflow wide open. Coil (V12-T12) was screwed in so tight, needed pliers to slacken off, the top fill cap is extremely tight, perhaps uncomfortably so. First impressions is it's a good tank.

I tried it lower and it didmt seem as strong, people in clouf chasing comps always use higher, no?
NO, In cloud chasing competitions the competitors are restricted to using a mechanical mod (No electronics) containing a single 18650 battery and usually they are given a set amount of juice - usually 20 drops in the competitions I've seen - this is where the shill comes in, creating a build that can squeeze every last bit vapour from the limited juice with limited power (After all the batteries can only handle so much current) therefore even the most ambituos cloud chasers can only really expect to squeeze 250w out of a build and that is building at dangerously low levels that ruins the battery in a few draws...

I am taking on board what you lot say, i tried lowering the watts and taking longer puffs but its not as effective as the higher watts?
Cancel that - read further on in the thread and it seems you've turned the wattage down and are taking longer draws, It seems to be working for you - which is excellent. There is a technique involved with getting the biggest clouds and it's slightly different for everyone and every tank / Dripper, keep at it you'll soon have your own human fog machine technique worked out...

I got me one just for shits.
And it is a cloud monster. but then again, I've got a small willy and drive a BMW.
I also did a bit of clouf chasing, until one of the husbands caught me at it and knocked my teeth out.

Clouf chasing ftw, lol.
"clouf"
You started it in a previous post!!!!!
I googled it to find the meaning. And it brought back memory's of my days when I would bang anything, and hiding in wardrobes to escape from husbands.

Although this has gone way off topic its been informativ3 for me!
i found the sweet spot to be 165w and the clouds and flavour are better than ever!

happy clouf chasing. . Lol :)

You'll find we specialise in thread derailment on here, and I'm glad we've been able to help you find the sweet spot for your gear - We do try to help - although occaisionally we can get carried away, although sometimes it's hard to tell though all these cloufs...:lol1:
