Forum response to disposable vapes

What about a rule that any disposable advert can only be shown once? :hmm:

I've not seen any threads attacking newbies, so i'm not sure where that statement applies. Every thread i've seen, or participated where a newbie has asked about disposables or alternatives, has been met with helpful suggestions from all participating members. Sure there have been a couple of posts made by vendors PRIOR to the change made by admins, but these instances have been a less than subtle wording to draw the user in to the marketing, only to find its a disposable. I participated in that thread to air my opinion that their post was deceitful, as did many others.

While i think the change is wrong for the vaping community, ultimately the forum owners have to pay the hosting fees somehow.

Personally I don't care about the subject either way.

If D ads keep the forum financially viable then why not? I don't believe anyone is dumb enough to buy into everything suggested by advertisers, and if they are then they are strong contenders for a Darwin Award so my giving a shit about them won't help.

I'm all for the not hounding people/vendors for their choice of devices to use or sell.
The advertising is a bit harder to get behind. The whole point that was stopped was because of the damage they are doing to the vaping scene, its got worse since then. I think theres opportunity for better incentives to get premium vendors on board, but whatever.
Thanks for the post and explaining of the staffs position. :)

I do hope the vendors will have to be TPD compliant with their advertising. Last thing we want to see is a 6000 puff Elf Bar plastered in the banner ads.

Does it count if it claims 6000 puffs but burns after 60?

would it need to be applied to atties as well though? 2ml only? otherwise it might seem unfair to single out the disposables.
