French Dude Juice Fake or Real???

Like most US juice sold in the UK these days, French Dude is actually produced in the UK under licence- this may explain the discrepancy with addresses, and the packaging may well be new UK specific packaging (explains the British flag). I’ve had a nose around a few sites/instagram pages and the shortfill bottles and packaging I’ve seen matches what you have. I’ve got no doubt it is authentic.

Had you shaken the bottle thoroughly after adding nic? Some shortfills should absolutely not be vaped without adding a nic shot, as they have been formulated for use with a nic shot, and can taste nothing like they should without one added. A good steep of a week or two can totally transform flavours too. Also, you should be using a nic shot that has a VG/PG ratio to match the one used for French Dude, as an imbalance in PG or VG after adding a nic shot can ruin the flavour.

No there is no need for expiry or batch numbers, that is entirely up to the manufacturer, there’s virtually no regulation around shortfill eliquid so they can do as they please with the labels, blunt as that sounds

Also the 2nd 0mg 50ml I have has no shot added as I thought I'd see if it was the shot that ruined it. But it's bad as well....

If this is the case which mix shot would you use for 50ml to make it 3mg with correct vg/pg ratio.

Using a Nic Salt nic shot may well be the problem here, for one it will leave you with 3mg of nic salt which is highly ineffective. Plus nic salt works well with some flavours, with others it doesn’t- leaving a nasty aftertaste, and it’s more effective at 60/40 or 50/50 ratios. Traditional 18mg freebase nicotine shots are a better option, as French Dude is 80/20 you ideally need a 10ml 80/20 nic shot and a two week steep, this should do the trick- https://www.mixshop.co.uk/collections/nic-shots/products/just-nic-it-80vg-20pg-nic-shot

Also, don’t vape this shortfill in zero nic without a nic shot added as it’s been mixed specifically for a nic shot to be added, it’s been overflavoured so when a nic shot is added the flavours will balance out. Without a nic shot it could taste harsh and nothing like you expect it to

Over 2 weeks steeping now.

I used Dr Salt nic shot and it's been fine with every other short fill. I vape this juice in 0mg aswell and it's still no comparison to 10ml 0mg from elsewhere

I would guess this might be the problem. My experience with nic salt is that flavours don’t steep. I think you might find it tastes different if you get another shortfill and use a nic shot with regular nic.

I just received a bottle of French dude that looks nothing like the ones I have used before and was going to start a new post about it but thought I may as well add it here.
I’ll include some pictures and if anyone can let me know what they think that would be great.
My concerns are the font and graphics on the box, I’ve never bought one with a flag on it either but the pictures online with a flag show it in the opposite corner, the box say shortfill but the bottle does not, no batch code or expiry date, the bottle I was sent doesn’t match the pictures on the website I bought it from (vapeuk) and I can’t find a single picture of a bottle of French dude with this cap. Any thoughts? Anyone?

they have changed bottles a few times but the flag does look suspicious by looking at these bottles (and check the price difference)

They replied to my email explaining that all their stock is exactly the same and they also spoke to their “very trusted uk supplier” who told them the packaging does vary.
I’m still not convinced but I don’t think I can return it now I added the nic shots.
