If 18mg is doing the job for a normal day to day vape, might be worth buying some 24mg or 32mg juice for when you go for a drinking session? The extra uumph of nic might do the trick to calm the urges?

If you have some nic then yes you can, it will dilute the flavour slightly though.

Indeed, I vape 24mg, but keep an Atty handy with some 36mg in it for the tough times. Has saved me so far :-) .

I'd guess that like most smokers that drink, you smoked more while drinking then compared to a normal day to day thing, so your system associates drinking with increased nic. So just keep that in mind and take some stronger juices when you want to drink and it will likely do the job for you.
