Hastur BF RDA - build suggestions

Had a clone fae Fasttech for a while and I've never really been too enamored with it.
Tried wee Nichrome and larger, well 2.5mm ID SS coils and still nae joy.
Just doesnae hit the spot and don't go as well as my converted Sapor or Mephisto.

Any suggestions before I give it away?

Have you tried a dual kanth clapton build in it

I had better add that the Hastur will be run on a Mech squonker......

Used to run the v2 with a vertical build - opens up the airflow, gets the wicks out of the way - never really liked it that much though ...so it's gone.

I run mine with dual claptons coming out at about 0.35 ohms, for me good flavour and vapor. Use on a Coppervape mech squonker

Currently running dual 6 wrap parallel 3.5mm 26awg kanth on one of my rda's and quite enjoying it. Comes out around .2ohm. First pull isn't fantastic but after that it's warm enough without getting hot.

I find twisted 3x28 kanthal gives plenty of flavour without the disgusting ramp up time of Claptons too.

Not got a hastur though so the airflow could be very different.

I run 4-5 wrap 24g flatwire around 0.15 - 0.19 with airflow 1/4 open.. .nice warm vape.

However, i am on the hunt for a trade hahaha

Wow looks good that! But don't know if I've got the skill to do that as I've only just started building my own coils. What wire is that?
