I wick mine pretty tight and never thin the ends, but I only take 5 second draws

Cheers dude. I'm gonna preserver with it as I'm taking it as my only device on holiday next month.

I'm pretty sure it is the wicking, I've had a bit of this before, it reminds me of vaping flooded stock coil.... I've had mine over 3 months now and it's probably happened 2 or 3 times. I think I'm just lucky that what I think of as my 'normal' coil and wicking works pretty perfect for me so I didn't ever really need to mess about with it.
