Hey guys,
i have to have a little vent and rant as in the last 24 hours i have completely gone off Todd the reviewer.
i joined his forums as i like his videos and thought it would be a cool place to hang out when i have read everything on here i wanted to.
I honestly have never seen such a closely controlled forum ever.. I posted on there about the Dire Wolf Bite i had to trade a couple of weeks ago, it was deleted in an instant by Gillian (who is on here) and i was informed that i cannot try to sell or trade anything on the forums without the express permission of Todd (fair enough she was just relaying his rules).
Same as most people on here, i like my mods and they are clones, i own a real KFL+ which disapointed me greatly until it got replaced, and the Hcigar 3.1ES did a better job than my real Svoemesto KFL+.
i tried to type something on the forum last night, which it turns out has been set by Todd to auto replace the word Clone with 'Rip Off' which to be honest i found rather off putting, and when i said that, i got told that if i had an issue to message him directly. So i messaged away, a good few paragraphs saying that i did see the point of view of people who hate clones, but pointed out that if the modders were better in business the would have patented and copywritten their products, and raised my point about the auto-replace wording. The reply i got was quit frankly dismissive and very short, basically tough... 'it is what it is, but you are welcome to hang around and join in' talk about making me feel the ousider even more thav i already did and had explained to him that was how it felt.
somone mentioned today something about 'that pound shop' as even the word Fasttech seems to be banned, i repied saying i agree, they seem to stock anything lately and that most of it was shite, but there were bargains to be had i.e my nem fakes (i resorted to typing fakes instead of clones as that does not auto correct... Yet) to then be shot down again with a message 'Guys, Enough with the talk about rip offs, thanks, Todd'
i beleive in the moderation of forums as it can get nasty.. But to take it to the level where someone cannot even discuss their devices is too far and borderline control freak.
have asked him to delete my account as i will not be back due to his elitism. What makes it funnier is he may not be that way if it was not for all the uber free stuff he gets to review.
Apparently because i can neither afford to spalsh out £130 on a real nemesis or £130 on a real KF 3.1ES doesn't make me a real vaper.. Or at least my views or points don't matter.. Or at least that is how that man has made me feel... Shame as i used to like his videos.. Now when i watched one today all i keep thinking is what a dick (sorry that auto correct doesn't work.. Penis)
