Never had any probs with temp builds in the past using Ni200,so I tought I would give the Nife30 from Stealth a try.Have done about three builds using a 2 post rda for ease of use and just to see.Fuck knows what I am doing wrong here, every time the coils are just glowing like fuck.First on the Kooper plus,so thinking I have something set wrong or that the mod whilst new could be fucked,I tried on the Shark and the VT.Nope same fucking shit happening.

Using 29awg on 2.5mm,now unless I am doing something wrong, which could be the case,I have set the target at 0.1ohm on the Steam chart.Set all the other parameters and it gives me 6 wraps. However each time I have installed it,it comes out at 0.3ohms,which I would have thought would not make too much difference one way or the other. Both legs are screwed down nice and tight and coil wraps are nicely spaced out.Any help appreciated her.

Have you checked the ohms warm or at room temperature. The resistance change when the coils are warm is massive and that's how the mod reads and controls the temp.

Leave it for 10-15 mins to fully cool down then try again.

Somethings not right here, I'm getting 0.3 ohms for 29 awg Nife30 to be 9 wraps at 2.5 ID, Sounds like it's over compensating - You're sure the atty was properly cold when you set the initial resistance?

Thanks mate and mine looks exactly the same if I enter those values .Like I say I was putting in 0.1ohm in the target field.Had it in my head that it`s best to keep it as low as possible for some reason like 0.15ohm as an example. Will try again and see what happens. And yeh I always leave the atty for a while to get as cool as possible before fitting.

It's better to get the resistance up as high as you can, that way when you get a change in resistance it's more pronounced giving higher accuracy...

Cheers mate, well I just did another single build on the Kooper.Nine wraps came out at 0.31ohms,had the mod set in single coil mode 200F,seemed to work fine for three or for fires on the button, top cap off as I was just observing how it was looking.Increased to 285F and fucking boom, whole coil just glowed like fuck again :hmm:
