What's new

Have rebuildables died out?

Over 100 RTAs released from the start of 2018 to now. over 1 per week. I don't have numbers for RDAs but it put them in and it adds up to a hell of a lot no doubt. It's not dying. Others have already gone through why shops won't focus on them.

I've not bought stock coils in nearly five years. It makes sense for B&M's not to rebuildables as they'll never see a punter back that figures out how much a roll of wire and bag of cotton costs, how long it lasts for, and the money they save over stock coils. Also, there's an absolute glut of stuff hitting the market regularly that they're getting stuck with outdated stock as the next hyperbolic item comes to market - companies like Aspire etc who have multiple atomisers that take the same coil heads are a blessing for B&M's as they can tell clients they use the same coils as their old tanks which looks as if they're saving the customer money initially, but keeps them coming back for more coils.

Still happily building, rta’s, drippers and squonkers. I don’t like stock coils only because they take away the flexibility of building your own.

Ebb and flow of Chinese buisness. Rebuilding may become more independently focused again for a while as the pod and aio products are in fashion. China really doesn't give a crap about what type of gear it makes,.it's all about units sold. If vaping was completely banned tomorrow those mod factories would be producing dildo's and smart watches in hour's.
Plenty of stuff about still. New rebuildable tanks every week. Very much mtl focused over the last few months but tomorrow may be back to something completely new.

All I do is Squonk (MTL and DTL) :) Therefore, all I use is RDA's.
Wifey used to use Nautilus Mini, but I converted her to a Inbox/ETNA combo! :)2
