Heart condition

I had heart attack in 2010 two stents fitted lol i was on 40 a day then started vaping 3 months ago bp has gone down and feeling a lot better for it

Had a full blown heart attack myself, 5 years ago, but try as I might, I could not kick the stinkies until I came across the vaping gear available. Had tried the e-cigs you see advertised in the press but gave up on them after a very short trial. Been vaping for a couple of months now and feel the benefit of kicking the stinkies into touch. Not touched, or even craved one for 2 months now since I started vaping. Only point I would make is that If I try a juice with too high a nicotine content, then I find I need a couple of squirts of GTN. So I mix using the bare minimum of nicotine, using just enough to satisfy the cravings and keep me off the stinkies, but not too much to cause problems. Also with mixing my own juice I am gradually reducing the amount of nicotine I include in the mix. Though my advice would be to check with a health professional. Everyones situation is different an it really is unwise to accept a 'one size fits all' answer. P.S. I was getting through over 50g of Golden Virginia every week. God only knows how I avoided having a second attack!

Think that I should add here that forums such as this give great advice on the specific subject they are set up for. But PLEASE, DO NOT TAKE MEDICAL ADVICE FROM ANYONE OTHER THAN A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, WHO HAS EXAMINED YOU AND IS FULLY AWARE OF YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY. Yes, I am fully aware that in general terms, vaping does not carry the risks associated with smoking. But, that said, we are all individuals and our medical nuances will vary from one to another. I strongly advise anyone with health problems, to discuss matters with their GP before taking up vaping.:please: Its for you own safety.

Just noticed today that one of the ingredients of my GTN spray is PV. Small world.

Speak to your GP but remember they may not know what you're talking about. Explain that it's vaporised nicotine in a solution of propylene glycol and flavourings. Also explain how much nicotine is in it compared to cigs. For example my old cigs were .7mg each. Vaping I use about 3-4mg per day as opposed to 14 on my 20/day habit.
