Help ohms

Thank you so much and if I get the 2 coils at 0.4 would I be able to vape that at between the 35w to 40w

I can’t say for sure, I’m sorry - there are factors other than ohms that come into play, like what metal they’re made of, what type of coil you have. But higher ohm coils like 2 X 0.4 ohm or even 0.5 ohm would be more likely to need the lower powered vape you’re after. Hopefully somebody who has the RDA will be able to advise further (@Puffed Daddy :20:)

35 to 40 Watt vaping is more suited to single coil DL vaping.

As a stop gap you could try fitting one of the 0.13 ohm single coils (try to position it in the centre of the tank), closing down the airflow by 50% or so and trying it that way. Generally dual coil tanks perform better with 2 coils fitted, but I have used the original Drop RDA with a large single coil on a single 18650 mod and it worked pretty well - the Drop Dead is similar to the Original Drop and it should perform pretty much the same.

The Drop Dead will perform better with dual coils - but a 40 Watt maximum isn't really enough to get the coils to ramp up fast and vape will be cool. The pair of 0.40 ohm coils previously suggested will work really well, but I think you need an absolute minimum of 50 Watts (60 would be better) to get a satisfying vape. Both of the mods you have can easily cope with this.
