What's new

help with evod's please guys?

That's what I'm saying the top post on evod heads is supposed to be short like the ones I got from myepack but they don't work the others I bought seem to have protank heads in and work fine, didn't know any better at the time but I've looked it all up now so I don't have any spare heads

Oh OK, I get you now mate.

Are these the correct replacement heads that I've bought?

Cheers mate. Hopefully they sort things out for you. So far myepack seem pretty good. They posted my stuff out early and I expect it to be delivered tomorrow. They are real cheap as well. Which is always a good thing. :)

Abyss firstly you must sleep as little as i do - but yeah buddy i was well chuffed i ordered at 3pm tuesday and by 11am wednesday it was here love my new itaste mvp and my nitecore charger as for the prices fantastical other places are charging £19.99 for a twin battery charger I got a 4 bay from myepack for £17.99 good deal i'll deffo be goin to them again as long as this slight hiccup gets sorted out I think i've solved the problem i cleaned all the heads and tanks thats what i've been doin for the last hour at 3 in the morning yup im crazy and switching all the heads and bottom parts round about and the only issue is one of the bottom parts is missing an o-ring which is probably causing an arc and as for the longer head posts on the Empvap ones i think they were mistakenly fitted with mt3s heads at the factory but they still work great so all I need really is for the guys myepack to send me a new bottom part or o-ring so you should be all good as advised above check your tanks before you fill em make sure the head is in hand tight and the 2 rubber seals are present and correct on the bottom part and you should be jammin - you get great flavour off these tanks btw i love em.

To get a 9.9 ohm reading generally denotes that there's no connection,to cure this see if you can push the centre pin out on the 510 atty connector.I know this works as I've just finished recoiling my own atty & the bar-steward decided to retract its centre pin so I'd to do this, only does it AFTER I've filled it,worked great (1.8 ohms) before I filled it.

I'm on the night shift bud. But it's very rare for me to be in bed before 3am. If everything goes well I'll use them again I presume, I check the evod is working before adding liquid? Can I ignite it without liquid in? How long do the coils last before a replacement is needed? Are they easy to clean when you want to change flavours? Thanks.

Yep just dont hold it down for more than a few seconds.

Coils will last depending on how you vape, what kind of juice you vape, the PG/VG ratio content, and what ohms/voltage you are vaping at :) Could be 3 days, could be 2 weeks.

Cheers mate. I hope these ones work OK for me. I've wasted a good £20 on bull sh#t ce4's from eBay. Are evods easy to clean when you want to change flavour liquid?

@Abyss Like KMS said just give it a quick press these coils and wick are pretty easy to clean and dry burn you can find videos on that on youtube also like KMS says they might last two weeks might last two days depending on juice ratio and what voltage you use you should be ok most of mine on my protanks have lasted 3-4 weeks and you can also find tutorials on youtube for recoiling and rewicking them not something i've tried yet but I will - i've kept my old heads I'll get round to it at some point.

way i do it is pop the top post off the coil they just pull off they're not screwed in or anything and I get rid of the flavour wick if i'm changing flavour then rinse the wick under war water until it's pretty white then dry off with kitchen towel and screw back into my mod and just pulse the battery on and off while blowing to get the gunk away then once the coil glows and the wick is white you're good to go,then I put a piece of 3mm silica wick across the gap jam the top back on and trim the edges with nail clippers truly great for cutting wick then fill up with juice let it soak into the wick for a few minutes then vape on - if you need wick or wire I recommend @stealthvape ekowool for wick and kanthal wire pretty much everyone here agrees it's the best.

Cheers bud, will try them out tomorrow. And look into recoiling some time in the future. I hope I get 3-4 weeks out of them. How do you actually know when they are finished? Is it like the ce4 with the burning taste?
