Hi, Just got an M16 Mod (Clone) from Grey Haze but it will not fire at all?
I have tightened EVERYTHING up and screwed the firing pin up and down and different modes with different batterys but no matter what I do to it, it refuses to fire - I honestly don't know what to do and I'm just about to give up on this mod and I only received it this morning.

Any ideas from you helpful lot :)!?

At the moment I have a ProTank 2 on the top - I'll try it with my fogger and see if the PT is the issue - Attempted to fire it on an MVP v2 and it fires straight away...
I have a multimeter so is there any way I can check if voltage is being pumped through?

Screw atty on first adjust positive post make sure there in contact then adjust battery to make contact via the telescope. Let us know how you get on?

Hold one probe to the centre pin, the other on the 510 threads and push down so it would be firing. This should give you a voltage reading - make sure the range is set for something like 20V (depending on your multimeter).

Also place the probes at either end of your battery to check it isn't dead.

There is a known issue of M16s shorting due to the spring in the 510 connection, although it is rare in my experience.

Yeah I just attempted it but the positive pin is in such a way that it cannot be adjusted -

The positive pin should be floating.

Try taking the top cap off and them loosening the telescoping section somewhat. Screw the atty all the way into the topcap till its flush. Reattach the topcap to the telescoping section and then tighten the mod down

have you actually unlocked the firing button at the bottom?
top pin is floating, rest screws together.
in that sense, it is a stick. nothing can be wrong with a stick

Sounds like that's your problem right there and that the pin isn't connecting with the atty.

You should be able to push the top with a screwdriver and see the bottom part move.

Try pushing it up from the bottom to see if the pin raises, attach an atty until it's flush then screw down the mod till everything is tight and try then.

Yeah my pin is staying there - There is absolutely no moving it - It doesn't have a spring loaded pin neither and I has a big black washer around the pin.

I just attempted that SimonSays but no chance - Absolutely nothing coming from this mod :(!
