This is why I'm finding it hard to sort, I've no idea what rda it is, I just picked it up from my local e cig store, I assume its steel bodied(definatly metal), plastic tip and single coil, the problem is the taste, its horrendous. The first few draws are fine but the last few really do taste bad, I can't tell what the taste is, its almost a cross between melted plastic and oil, I thought about cleaning it but didn't know the best way,,

Serious time, take a photo and show us. Without a rough idea of what were working with its near impossible. Sounds a bit like a dry hit, but that's not.oily. if you show us what it is we can help.

Also, if you pull the cap off and take a photo of the coil, that's what'll be causing it. And you need to do this to clean anyway.
Best thing to do, is rip out the stock build, and.build another one. There's a million and one tutorials on here, just don't pay attention to one's I write... take Mawsley s advice and do the opposite

I can't get a photo today as I'm not home. Its not a dry hit as such, there is vapour, its just overpowered by the rankness, I don't know anything about ohms but I've tried it on both the 1100mah battery and the mvp2 , same results on both, the wick looks like string rather than cotton ball

String is silica, which is used in tanks and stuff and is actually the main wicking.material for ecigs
Cottons more advanced as when it goes dry, if you burn it,.you've got to take it out. With silica, you can burn it as much as you like.and.it'll live.

Best thing to do, as mentioned, is recoil it. I'm willing to bet that it still has the standard factory coil and wick in, which means it'd be a coil made by a small child somewhere in China. Would I trust it? No

Yeah it will be the standard wick and coil, it was new and I've not altered anything, yet.
So what would be the best wire to use to recoil, I assume it would be kanthal but what guage?

Kanthal a1 0.25mm 5 wraps on 2x2mm silica is a nice setup for starters

Just had a quick look on the marketplace, my rda is pretty identicle to the tbc bully. Could even be one it looks exactly the same

Aloha man, my Omega RDA should be arriving soon so I might end up in the same boat, just figured out how to properly coil a kayfun but my fogger v4 still fights back
