How do I use a nic booster to make 0mg juice into 6mg?

Hi everyone, I think I must be completely dense as I can't work this out. I have been vaping for 4 weeks and this is the first time I have come across nic boosters.

I was in a shop today and they had a lovely juice but only in 0mg. The girl in the shop said she would give me a plusnic to make it into 3mg. I said I vaped 6mg to which she said you can only ever make 3mg. I found this strange so bought it anyway, thinking that you guys who know a ton more than I probably ever will could point me in the right direction.

I don't know if it matters but the juice is 65 ml of Fantasi mango ice. The 10 ml bottle of plusnic she gave me says 70/30 which is good as this is what I normally use. It also says that the nicotine is 18mg/ml then it says in brackets (1.8%). it also says 720 MCG/dose.

The girl in the shop said to add the 10ml bottle of plusnic to the entire 65ml of mango juice and that would then make it into 3mg of nicotine. When I got home I looked it up but sites have said to add 10ml plusnic to 40ml of juice - 25ml difference !!

I am SO lost.

I need to make this juice into 6mg nicotine. I know I will have to buy another plusnic. Do I just buy another plusnic the same as what she gave me or is the nicotine at 18mg/ml anything to do with it ? Looking at plusnic online there is 9mg and 18mg

Please can you help me .. and please keep it really simple.

What you have mixed is on 2.4mg..

65ml 0 nic + 10ml 18nic = 75ml at 2.4nic

Got that by dividing the 18nic by the total 75ml of juice..

I just mixed up some food fighters crack pie with a quicknic bottle,

I had 50ml of 0nic juice and added 10ml of 20nic to it.. so that's a total of 60ml of juice with 20nic added 20.. 20nic divided by 60ml is 3nic.. I think!

60ml of juice with a 10ml 18mg nic shot would be 3mg, yours is just over 200/60=3.333 etc mg

Nic shots are measured per ml so 20mg is per 1ml of liquid. So a 10ml bottle has 200mg of nic. A 18mg nic shot has 180mg of nic, 15mg has 150mg and 9mg has 90mg total nicotine.

Add that 10ml of nic to the 0mg juice you have to get the total amount of liquid then divide the total nicotine amount by the total amount of liquid.

I was given a 10 ml bottle of nic boost in 20ml/mg but couldnt work out how to turn that into 6mg. I will sit later and work out the maths on it.

One way to work it out without doing a load of algebra is to ask yourself "How much Strength 6 juice could I get out of this whole Strength 20 shot?"
6 divided by 20 is 0.3, or to put it another way 6 is 30% of 20, so your shot needs to be 30% of your total and your original zero strength juice will therefore be 70% of the total.
So, if you're starting with 10ml of zero nic juice you want to know "10ml is 70% of what?" 1 divided by 0.7 is 1.42 and 1.42 times 10ml is 14.2ml, so you add 4.2ml of the shot to your original 10ml and you will have a total of 14.2ml of Strength 6 juice.

If you want to use the whole shot then it's the opposite... 1 divided by 0.3 is 3.33 and 3.33 times 10 is 33.33 so you add 23.33ml of zero nic juice to the 10ml shot making 33.33ml of strength 6 juice. If you don't want to measure anything, get 70ml of juice and 3 shots and mix them all in a 100ml bottle.

Bottom line - for your particular requirements you want 7 parts juice to 3 parts nic shot.

And because it's been diluted your final juice will have 70% of the flavour strength of the zero nic juice you started with.

Blimey... translating algebra into English is a mouthful. :D
